Hard work and grinding = Success
I started golf as a Freshmen and I made Varsity, I have been the number 1 player for our team 2 years in a row and I continually trying to better my game with exercising, range time, practicing short game, and getting in as many rounds as possible. Each year my score improves and with my determination and work ethic in school I look forward to continuing to lead our team in the #1 spot. This year my team won the State Regional Qualifier and placed 5th in the State Final. Both for the first time in our program history and an amazing accomplishment for our team. At States, I was a top 10 medalist - our schools first ever. All the hard work and relentless practice was shown at Regionals and States and I am very proud of those accomplishments. I aspire to play golf in college because I know how to put in the work required and the effort it takes to stay dedicated to school, family, and golf. My short term golf goals are another Regional Championship and a State Title for our team. My goal for after high school is to play competitively at a great college and prepare myself academically for an exciting and fulfilling career wherever my life may take me.
