Hi, my name is Megan Young and I am a current Junior at Eastview High School in Apple Valley, MN. I golfed a little as a kid, but didn't get into it competitively until my Freshman year. This year is my third year on the varsity team and my first year as a captain. Throughout my time on the team I have learned so much about the game of golf, true meaning of teamwork, and I have learned to better myself in ways I never knew I needed to. My strongest trait as a golfer is my willingness to learn and I am constantly finding ways to improve my physical and mental game. As a captain, I have realized how critical it is to be an adaptive learner and to have an open mind. My main sport for the entirety of my life has been alpine skiing. I have been skiing since I was two and have been on the varsity team since my seventh grade year. Thank you for your time and consideration I hope to hear from you soon.
