Hello Coaches, my goal with golf is to make a name for myself. Growing up I never saw any girls that looked like me playing golf, I would be the only black girl at my tournament and I felt like an outsider. This use to make me ashamed of saying that I played due to the fear of being judged. But now, I’ve realized that golf was a blessing in disguise. My dream is to be that voice and that role model for black girls that I didn’t have growing up. I want to make a name for myself while also improving my game and redefining my love for the game as well.
