Mia Sutton '19 Recruiting Profile

It was just about 3 years ago, when I found my true passion for golf. Ever since I started this sport in the summer of eighth grade, I have got increasingly better and have improved tremendously, setting goals was a challenge that I have always faced in everything I do but I decided to set some goals when I started competing in tournaments, i.e, shoot below 110. This sounds pretty pathetic but when I had achieved this, I was over the moon and wanted to keep improving my game. I feel that I am a good candidate for this team because I am passionate about the sport that I love. What makes me different from everybody else is the fact that I only started this sport three and a half years ago and am fairly new to it. I am already at a high level, and I know I have so much more room for improvement. I'm a great student academically in the classroom, always willing to participate and be engaged in discussions. I have a great personal relationship with each of my teachers which helps my performance and overall I am a bright kid who loves to learn and wants to know more about the game and myself.
