Dannah Smith '24 Recruiting Profile

Welcome to my profile page.  I have been swinging a golf club since I was five but only started playing competitively when I entered seventh grade. Golf has been my passion since then.  Over the past three years I have worked hard to get my swing and my mindset to the point they both are at now.  In this time, I have dropped my scoring average over 16 points, and my consistency has increased.  My short game and putting are by biggest strengths, and I am very good at shutting off bad shots and misses - and moving on to the next swing.  I love to practice and work on all areas of my game, and will be looking for a college and coaching staff that has the same mindset.  Academically, I have gotten my GPA into 4.0 status.  I really enjoy school.  I have a goal of taking my golf career to the next level in college, and it would be an absolute dream come true if I do get a chance to play for an amazing college or university.  My academic interests are Criminal Justice and Forensics, but I am willing to explore all areas as well.
