My name is Delaney Kinter and I am from North Carolina. I go to Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy and graduate in 2026.
Swinging a golf club for the first time was new and exciting. I found myself wanting to go to the course everyday and yurning to improve quickly. It was the first sport that I genuinely fell in love with, and a sport I continue to love everyday. One thing I love about the sport is both recieving and giving support to and from your teammates.
As a young student and golfer, I believe I would be a good contribution to your team because of my perseverance and dedication to golf. Achieving knowledge through my golf journey not only has taught me to be more patient with the sport and my golf development, but also with everyday things in life. Staying calm through the difficulties golf presents you with has taught me react better in school/life issues.
My work ethic and school determination also continue to show and meet the request in collegiate golf. With a weighted GPA of 4.26, I balance my school work well with my golf life.
