I have been golfing since my 7th grade year at St Mary Catholic School. Up until my Freshman year at Fort Frye High School I was golfing competitively and playing travel soccer for a local club team. I still love both sports but realize that golf is a better fit to pursue in the attainment of my goals. I enjoy the offseason workouts which allow me to start the summer tournament season strong and grow my game with a more solid foundation both physically and mentally. I want to find a school where I can compete and continue to grow as an athlete while pursuing an education in psychology, with an emphasis in sports psychology. My high school does not have a girls team so I have had to compete regularly on the boys team playing from the boys tees. I know that affects my handicap but I love the challenge that this brings. I am very excited to continue to grow during my senior year of high school.
