Devon Maxwell '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Devon and I am in the class of 2023. I have been playing golf for as long as I can remember. I started golfing at age 5 and began my competitive golf career at age 10, playing in the local Jr. PGA league. Through this experience, I fell in love with the competitive side of golf while still experiencing the team atmosphere. My goal at the collegiate level is to sustain a consistent personal improvement in both athletics and academics. Inclusivity and sportsmanship are very important to me and are a large part of my character. Throughout my high school career, I have grown to become a person that holds myself to a higher standard in all areas of life. I have been on the varsity team since I was a freshman. As a freshman, seeing and learning from my peers has given me the insight and drive to become a better person and leader. I have made it my mission to make sure our team is having a good time while also maintaining a competitive atmosphere. I look forward to bringing these qualities and experiences to my next team in college.
