Student.  Golfer.  Leader.  

I am currently in the top 1% of my class, and #1 golfer on the Varsity Team.

As an immigrant from Malaysia - my mother is a firm believer is setting high goals, and never giving up on your dreams.  She has imparted these characteristics on me, albeit sometimes forcefully - I am forever grateful.  Education is religion in our home, a failure is not an option.  When presented with challenges in my school and golf life - my ethos for problem solving has always been professional advice and hard work.  

As a young girl on the golf course with my dad - I was fascinated with the game of golf.  Fascination quickly grew into a hobby, and ultimately the permanent part of my life it is today.  It blends nicely with my other interests at school of Science and Math, and playing golf in college has become a goal of mine.

I am looking for a University to equip me for professional career in math or an adjacent field of statistics or business analytics.
