Personal Statement
Ever since I started competitive golf, playing at a collegiate level is something I have always wanted to do. I consider myself to be very dedicated to the game and I am not afraid of pushing boundaries and expectations. I grew up in a very athletic family, so I have always been supported by friends and family which has helped me develop as an athlete. I am usually very good at balancing my school work and athletics and have been successful at both. I think what sets me apart from other players is that I like to put in a lot of time, focus, and effort into my game. I practice about 6 to 7 days a week and I usually see my swing coach 1 to 2 times a week. I play in highly competitive tournaments every other weekend if not every weekend. I enjoy being around other people and I am easy to get along with, so working with a team or supporting a team is not an issue for me even though this is somewhat more of an individual sport.
I ended 2019 as the NTPGA Junior AAT Points Challenge Champion and top 50 on the LJT. I also started 2020 as the NTPGA Junior AAT Spring Series Points Challenge Champion.
