I have been very fortunate to play golf throughout my life and have really enjoyed playing in high school and junior tournaments which is why I would love to continue my athletic journey during college. While playing golf in high school it can be very difficult to balance academics with tournaments; learning how to work hard and use my time efficiently has been the biggest lesson from my golf career thus far. My biggest strength as a player is being able to learn from a bad shot and move on to the next without affect, which has also become how I view difficulties in my life. I have been training my thoughts and concentration to overcome the pressure faced on and off the course through breathing and focusing techniques. My biggest weakness in my golf game is having difficulty identifying what needs to be improved which is why I have sought out coaches and mentors that have helped me fill those gaps. My goal is to play for a college team to help me improve on the course and an education that will help me achieve my goals off the course.
