Personal Statement

Hi! My name is Lauren Sims and I am a Junior at Skyline High School. I have played golf ever since I was 8 years old. I love the challenge, competitiveness, and the mental aspect of the game. As the number one player of my Varsity team, I was named MVP of the year 2016-2017. Tied 8th, shot 75,83 in the VHSL Girls State Golf Championship. I finished the season with the District title, 2nd place finish in the Regional Championship, and 8th in the State Championship.

My desire is to be successful both on the golf course and academically. I continue to challenge myself with honors and AP classes. My current GPA is 3.75.

I am excited to see where golf takes me on my collegiate journey!
