Hi! My name is Sierra. I am currently enrolled at Will-Moor Gymnastics, and training as a Level 10 gymnast. I am a homeschooled student, currently in the 11th grade. I train in the gym six days per week. I am scheduled to graduate from high school in 2026, and plan to continue my education with a major in architecture, while competing at the collegiate level of gymnastics.
I started gymnastics when I was 7 years old at TNT Gymnastics. I loved it from the start. I enjoyed tumbling the most. I began in a summer elective program. Before I knew it, I was moving up levels and was requested to join a team. At TNT, I was enrolled in USIGC. I was at the Bronze level when I began competing. I did so well my first year that I qualified for the World Championships. Unfortunately, TNT had not prepared for a coach to travel for this meet. Therefore, I did not attend. Of course, this was very disappointing. As a result, my parents searched for a new gym, and I landed at Will-moor Gymnastics.
While at Will-moor, I have met many new friends. I have also excelled in my gymnastics. Throughout my career thus far, I have achieved many goals. In level 7, I was Bars State Champion, Level 8 Floor State & Regional Champions, and Floor Regional Champion in Level 9. I qualified for the Eastern Championships but was injured while training for the meet; therefore, I could not compete. In my first year of Level 10, I was State Champion and was second alternate for Nationals. I am excited to see what awaits this season.
Gymnastics is a great sport all around. I have learned the true meaning of teamwork as well as dedication to the sport. With every move and skill, gymnastics keeps me alive! It is something about the rush you get when you get a new skill that keeps me in love. It is great to support my teammates, and I also enjoy meeting new people as I travel for meets. I am now 17 and look forward to bigger meets and preparing for college. I am looking for a collegiate team with the same characteristics of my Will-Moor Team; that is a team that loves one another, supports one another and strives to be the best. I just hope that my future college recognizes those same characters in me.
