My name is Pudgie Sabinash, and I am currently a Senior in High School with a graduation year of 2025. I live with my family in North Pole, Alaska. I have played hockey since I was 4 starting under the Jr. Preds program in Nashville, Tennessee. I became a goalie during my 10U season and just fell in love with the sport even more. I am currently rostered with the 16/19UA Hockey Club Fairbanks Girls team out of Fairbanks, Alaska where I am one of two goalies on the team. I was also the only girl in the entire state of Alaska rostered in the 16UAA boys' division last season when I played for the Arctic Lions 16UAA. I had the privilege of being 1 of 8 goalies in the nation to attend the University of Wisconsin’s Elite High School Prospect Camp in 2023, and this summer was full of prospect elite camp/showcases across the nation. I have played Girls Hockey, Girls Tier III, Coed Tier III, Coed for Hockey Club Fairbanks, Arctic Lions Tier II and during the High School Hockey season I play for Monroe Catholic Boys Varsity High School team in Fairbanks, Alaska. I have received awards such as academic awards for maintaining my 4.0 GPA, perfect attendance award for never missing a game or practice, and the ASHAA Sportsmanship award. I love Hockey in its entirety from behind the scenes, coaching, to being a referee, broadcasting and social media for our local NAHL Ice Dogs Team, to overall athlete health and maintenance. I am resilient, adaptable, coachable, and a motivated team player.
