From the first moment that I stepped onto the ice I knew that this would be my passion for years to come. I had, and never will, lose the love I have for the game of hockey. To me hockey is more than just a game, it’s my life and it has taught me so much to this day. Without hockey I don’t know where I would be today. I enjoy every aspect that is a part of the game and I don't think I could ever thank the people that helped me along the way or the game enough. The game has essentially shaped who I am today.
Personally, I will always do what it takes to make myself a better player. I'm open to learning all the time and I am a coachable player. I put my heart and soul into my athletics and into schooling to become successful and accomplished.
I've been playing hockey for the past 11 years, since I was 4 years old. I had played boys hockey in Bonnyville, AB up until my second year of u15 where I went on to play with the u15 AA Lloydminster Jr Steelers. After that season I had went on to play for team North Grey in the Alberta Challenge. Soon after this event I had been invited to their summer development camp alongside the other top 40 girls in the province. Following this, I went on to play in the U18 AA AFHL league for the Lloydminster elite Steelers and am currently playing for the Lloydminster PWM Steelers who are a part of the U18 AAA AFHL league.
Tenacity is key, and being tenacious is my goal to reach every single day. Determination. Resilience.
