Personal Statement

I aspire to be something great, push myself to new levels, contribute to the team, and succeed in a group of girls I can call my family. I pride myself on my sportsmanship, attitude on the ice, and always being level-headed even in great despondent times, handling situations calmly in which my teammates can look for example. My job as a goalie is to stop the puck with consistency, yet to also lead by example allowing my teammates to find comfort in my drive, effort, and attitude. I pride myself on my values to lead by example and always present a positive attitude to show my teammates that no matter the team's situation we can always find a way to bounce back if we strive hard enough for it. I am confident I can contribute on the ice, being a consistent goalie which allows my team always to win but I can also greatly contribute to a team's culture by being mentally mature and positive in the room.

I want to push myself to play at the most competitive collegiate level possible, finding success in both my academics and athletics. Through doing so, I am determined to make myself and the program I’m committed to as best as possible. I am calm and composed under pressure, and if anything, I thrive in high-intensity situations. If you are looking for a goalie with high intensity, aggressiveness, speed and consistency, I'm the athlete for you.
