My name is Julianna Giacobbo. I am a grade 12 student attending St. Gabriel High School's Online school in Alberta, Canada. I am a defenceman on the Midget AAA Sutter Fund Chiefs female hockey team. I was born and raised in St. Albert, Alberta and grew up going to school and playing hockey there. My current academic average is 86%. My career aspirations are to complete a Bachelor of Kinesiology and then continue my schooling to become a physiotherapist.
My strengths as a player include, game sense, compete, skating, good shot and I pass the puck hard on the tape. I am used on my team for both power play and penalty kill. I am a coachable player, leader and a well-liked teammate. I understand the importance of working together and the concept of team first hockey. I am a self-starter and am always looking for and excited to find new ways to improve my game on and off the ice. As well, I put in my absolute best effort in everything I do. You would not be disappointed to have a player like me on your team.
