Mikayla Loewen '21 Recruiting Profile

Dear Prospective Coach,

My name is Mikayla Loewen, I am a 5'5", 155 lb ice hockey player. I prefer to play right-wing, but I can also play any other forward position. My goal is to play at a collegiate level and hopefully play professional women's ice hockey.  I am in my second year of midget hockey and play on the local A team. I think of myself as a two way forward that never quits no matter what the scoreboard says. I have a powerful shot and I am a strong playmaker. I have been told by several coaches that they always enjoyed my positive attitude and dedication to improving and learning.

In school, I work hard to maintain an A average. I am considering majoring in Kinesiology and minoring in Business. I am also the president of the Prespatou 4-H Community Club. In this club, we volunteer and help around in our community.
