Avery Wilson '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches!

My name is Avery Wilson, I am a 17 year old Left-Handed Defenseman and I graduate in 2025. I was born and raised in beautiful Penticton, British Columbia, Canada. 

I have been playing Hockey since I was 7 years old. I am a competitive multi sport athlete (softball) which means I understand the importance of hard work, attitude and being a great teammate.

I will be playing for Delta Hockey Academy on Delta Green U18 Female prep this upcoming season.

I am a strong and hard working defensemen. I take great pride in my work ethic, my skating and my ability to move pucks up the ice.

I take great pride in leading by example. I always give my best effort and performance on and off the ice. I have been an Assistant Captain for my team the past 2 seasons. I enjoy being a positive role model for my teammates and love to build people up.

Community is important to me. In 2023/ 2024, I was an Assistant Volunteer Coach for the U7 North Shore Princess Warriors and a member of the Student Advisory Council at the North Shore Academy School.

School is important to me. I currently have a 4.0 GPA, and my goal is to pursue Education to become an elementary school teacher.
