I currently play hockey at Okanagan Hockey Academy in my hometown of Penticton, British Columbia. I have played at OHA for 3 years now, all on U17 Female Prep. My goal is to play hockey at university and become a nurse after I graduate. I am a 2022 grad and a left wing. As a player, I am very aggressive, energetic and I have a very high compete level. I work hard all over the ice and I love to kill penalties, block shots and backcheck. My strengths as a teammate are that I am very trustworthy, encouraging, positive and I lead by example.
As a student I am very diligent and high achieving. Since grade 9 I have been in the leadership program at school. I have been involved in Penticton Provides, a month long campaign which gives children and their families that are less fortunate in our community food and toys for the holiday season. Along with that, I have been volunteering with Penticton Minor Hockey Association Novice and Atom female teams. Being a student athlete and giving back to the community has been such a great experience for me and I wish to continue into my post secondary education.
