My name is Kailey Wrigglesworth, and I am a 2025 grad from Penticton, British Columbia. I live with my parents and my brother who attends Thompson Rivers University. I am a right wing and have been playing for the Okanagan Hockey Academy U17 Female Prep team for the past two seasons. I currently play for the u18 Prep team this season. My goal is to play University hockey. As a player I am hardworking, aggressive and have a hard compete level all over the ice. My best skills are killing penalties, playing physical and blocking shots, all of which I love. As a teammate I am reliable, positive and lead by example.
As a student I am hardworking and set my personal standards high. I have been a part of the leadership program at the school for the past few years. It allows me to get more involved within the community. I volunteer during the week with coaching the Penticton Minor Hockey girls, and help coach the Upper Dek Vees, which is a diverse hockey team here in Penticton. Through the leadership program, I helped this year with a program called Penticton Provides. It is a program that allows people within the community to help those in need by donating food, clothes, and toys during the holiday season. Being able to give back to the community that allowed me to grow into who I am today, while being a student athlete is so important to me now, and as I continue through my hockey career. Outside of school I volunteer my summers at Eagle Bay Camp, creating an energetic and loving space that I grew up in as a kid.
I would bring a positive attitude and mind to your school, ready to continue to become a better player and person.
