My name is Lexi Bedier and I'm a hockey player from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I have been fortunate to play on many incredible teams such as the winning Alberta Winter Games 2018 team, the winning Alberta Challenge Cup 2017 team, GHC Bantam Fire White which won the Provincial Championship in 2017, and was so proud to represent my province on the Team Alberta Box Lacrosse team that finished third at Nationals in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 2017. I was named captain of my 2nd year bantam (U16) team thanks to my amazing teammates and was honoured when many of my teammates told me I was instrumental in helping them get through a tough season. I've also been named captain 3 years on my club box lacrosse teams. On the ice I am a 200 foot player who plays both sides of the puck. I compete in everything, from battles on the wall to back checks in the middle. I am an incredibly hard worker and a positive teammate who is always trying to push myself and my teammates to be better. I have good hockey IQ and I see lanes to make passes. My goal is to attend an NCAA Div I school with great academics while contributing my skill set to their team. I'm moving to British Columbia for my grade 10 (sophomore) year to attend Pursuit of Excellence (POE) Hockey Academy (September, 2018). I'm so excited for this next step in my hockey development.
