My name is Sophia Suissa; I am a junior in High School. In school, One of my favorite extracurriculars at school I do is the Science Olympiad. I’ve participated in it since sixth grade. I also participate in Choir, Theatre, and Mock Trials. But overall, one of my biggest passions is hockey. I’ve been playing or watching hockey for as long as I can remember. I play for the Highland Hills Jaguars and have spent most of my years playing for them, whether for the girls or co-ed teams. I have ADHD and dyslexia, and this is made me have to work harder for everything I do in school and in life, but it has taught me never to give up. This has come in handy on the ice as well. I always strive to have high grades and do things that I enjoy, like things in the medical field. In the future, I hope to have a nursing degree and become a pediatric nurse. But it would also be my dream to play hockey in college. I’m not perfect, and I know I’m not, but I’m willing to grow and listen to be able to achieve my passions.
