Personal Statement

  • My name is Alexis Pacheco, my nickname is Lexi and how people know me best! I am a Junior at Glastonbury High School.  Over the years I have become more and more hooked on hockey more than any other sport. It truly makes me happy and gives me a great sense of accomplishment. Hockey has taught me about friendships, teamwork, tenacity and perseverance.  After Highschool, I would like to play in college and work on a degree in either Psychology or Social Work.  I think that hockey and sports is a great way to make connections with those who are struggling in different ways and my hockey experience so far and a continuation in college would be a great asset to my career ambitions.  I feel that I would be a great addition to any hockey program/team because I am always looking to support others, improve my game, always look forward to feedback from my coaches and peers as well as covet the friendships and experiences that I would gain.
