Shannon Aube '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Shannon Aube. I am currently a senior at Northwest Catholic High School in West Hartford, Connecticut.   

I am enjoying my current travel team the Connecticut Northern Lights U19 where I play center and wing. 

This season for high school I got both All-Conference and Second Team All-State awards. I was named Captain my junior year and I am honored to have the opportunity to continue with the title for my senior year, I also finished with 36 total points (28 regular-season goals). 

After finishing my Sophomore year I decided to focus more of my energy and training on hockey and lessen some of my other sports. Last season I started volunteering to teach u6 & u8 girls the game of hockey. I realized that playing and being involved in teaching hockey to younger girls gave me a different point of view, other than just being the player but being able to help them grow from an outside perspective.

I aspire to play college hockey at a program where I can make a positive impact.  I want to attend a college and play for a coach where my hard work, positive energy, coachability, and leadership will improve the team and program for years to come.
