My name is Meghan Flock, and I am an 18 year old hockey player in Central Illinois. I am a forward who often switches between wings and center. I can also play defense. I started playing hockey when I was 8 years old, and I fell in love with the game right away. There is not one thing I don’t like about hockey, I love practices and games. I have dreamed of playing hockey at the collegiate level since I was in sixth grade, and I have worked very hard to achieve this goal. The game of hockey has truly made me a better person. It has taught me many life lessons such as leadership, communication, and teamwork.
My hard work, dedication, and versatility set me apart from other recruits.
I was not born with the raw talent to be an outstanding hockey player. Where I am today is because of hard work on and off the ice.
I have been dedicated to hockey for many years now, and I am willing to do whatever it takes to become a collegiate athlete.
I played mostly forward this past season, but the season before I played mostly defense. I am open to playing any position, and I will rise to the occasion when asked to do so.
