Ashley Engler '21 Recruiting Profile

I'm a very coachable player that is a hard worker. I am very focussed on hockey and if asked to do something I will willingly do what I'm asked. I want to go into anything in the medical or phycology as I'm still undecided. I play for a AA team called North Central Impact out of Leduc, Alberta. I have to drive 2 hours just fro a practice, which is helping me in getting ready for balancing my time between hockey and academics. Academically I am strong and I work very hard to get good grades. Hockey player wise; I am very strong at reading at reacting to plays, passing, and puck battles. I am getting better on the power play, I have a strong accurate shot. I am very good on the penalty kill. I am now playing as a swing player but mainly forward. I am looking forward to playing college hockey, as this has been my goal for a few years.
