Emma Nadeau '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Emma Nadeau, and I am a 2004 goaltender currently playing for the U22 A St Catharines Brock Jr Badgers. I have always had a dream of playing university/college hockey and I would love to make that dream a reality. While playing minor hockey, I have played at elite levels of both AA girls' and boys' hockey. I have also had the privilege of playing up with a U18 elite girls' team while still being part of my U16 elite boys hockey team and winning the bronze at provincials in the U18 division. I am known to be a hybrid goalie who relies on technique, speed, athleticism, and flexibility. I try to always be the hardest worker on the ice, and I take my training very seriously whether it’s a practice or a goalie skills session because I’m always wanting to improve myself so that I can always compete with the best. I am a very calm goaltender in games whether it’s a regular season game or a tournament final game. I have a very good ability to stay focused and to not get rattled easily which has helped me in a lot of very intense game situations and it has also helped me play and train against very good players who vary from AA and AAA levels of hockey to junior hockey. Whenever I am on the ice with my goalie school (360 goaltending) or other coaches I am always said to be very coachable. I am also said to have a very good work ethic.
