Laura Piroli '25 Recruiting Profile

As a top-level hockey goalie and an intelligent woman, I’ve excelled academically during my high school career, taking courses in both the advanced placement and IB programs. I have been an honor roll student and have consistently improved my grades in every year of high school. I’ve competed against the top female hockey players in my age category, including most members of Team Canada’s U18 women's national team, and performed admirably against such players. My dedication to hard work extends beyond the ice—I volunteer in my community and approach everything I do with determination. Beyond sports, I’m a well-rounded individual who plays both bass and electric guitar and has a passion for reading. While I’ve earned many tournament and game MVP awards in my hockey career, but I’m equally proud of the time I spend mentoring younger goalies and supporting my goalie partner. I firmly believe that teamwork and mutual support lead to greater accomplishments, both in sports and in life. I am confident in my ability to lead and contribute, and I aspire to join an academic and athletic community that shares this mindset.
