Personal Statement
My name is Lily Prendergast and I am a junior at Cushing Academy. I finished the fall semester with High Honors and I love to compete and enjoy being part of a team. I believe in accountability and strive be the best person I can be and to bring out the best in my teammates. I have competed at the top levels in sports and I have been fortunate to be invited to the USA Hockey Regional camp when I was 14 and then again to the USA National Development Camp in St Cloud, Minnesota at 15. I work hard on and off the ice and play multiple sports but tend to focus on Hockey and Softball. Prior to transferring to Cushing I was a 4 year starter at NDA for the Varsity Ice Hockey team and helped my team get to the championship game at Boston garden where I had 46 saves as an 8th grader. I also earned the starting pitchers position on the Varsity team in 7th, 8th, 9th and split time with another pitcher in 10th grade at Notre Dame Academy in Hingham, MA. My goal is to complete at the highest levels in college and pursue a career in business or criminal justice. I am on a mission and continue to get better every day!
