Hello my name is Grace Dumond I'm a 17 year old Junior at Deerfield Academy. I play three sports, field hockey, ice hockey and lacrosse at the varsity level. I played competitive ice hockey against boys until I reached the age of twelve. It was at this time that I found an organization which had a girls program which fit my skill level and desire for competitive play that emphasized teaching the game.
I consider myself to be a friendly, outgoing and competitive person off the the ice. Which ever sport I'm playing whether it be Ice hockey, field hockey or lacrosse I strive to be a leader and always support my teammates. Through the support offered to me by my family I have had opportunity to train both on and off the ice with some amazing coaches trying to push myself to be the best hockey player I can be.
In the classroom as I begin my high school career I will be focusing on achieving academic excellence trying to be the best student I can be. I am looking to grow academically as well as an athlete. My overall goal is to find the best college which fits my academic needs and allows me to compete at highest level for hockey.
