I am a young Native American (Akwesasne Mohawk) woman who dreams of playing Division I hockey someday because I love the game of hockey and want to play as long, and as competitively as I can. I have worked very hard to improve my craft year after year. In the off-season I train and work with my goalie coach, in addition to camps, tournaments and additional on/off ice training. In addition to hockey I enjoy playing soccer, lacrosse, golf, skiing and volleyball. I look forward to trying new sports such as field hockey and tennis.
Academics are very important to me. It is my ambition to study medicine, particularly sports medicine, and hope to one day work with high-level athletes.
I also enjoy volunteer work, especially when it comes to helping animals and local organizations such as the volunteer fire department, the Kateri Tekakwitha Circle, and fundraising for fellow students who are disadvantaged.
