Sarah Sampson '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello, My name is Sarah Sampson and I am from Wilmington, MA .  I was selected to play Varsity Hockey on Austin Prep's Women's Team in 8th grade and have worked hard to improve myself year over year to become a top performing player on the team.  I am a strong forward and consistent goal scorer, and play well with my teammates.  During the 2024-2025 season, I was a top goal scorer within the NEPSAC division.  Academically, I’ve put in signifcant effort to be accepted into three Honors classes in my senior year while staying committed to my hockey development participating in programs such as the Hockey Path, where I receive critical feedback from current NCAA Div 1 college women hockey players on my game performance.  I have also been training with a personal athletics trainer & coach over the last year and a half to improve my speed, strength, and overall performance while on the ice. Balancing a demanding academic schedule with hockey has taught me discipline and time management, which will be crucial as I work toward my personal goal of playing competitive NCAA hockey at the college level.
