Anna Turner '25 Recruiting Profile

I have been on the ice even before I was old enough to lace up my own skates. Growing up in a hockey family made me grow up loving and breathing hockey. I started hockey in Vermont, skating with my older brother’s team because our town was too small for a girls team. I learned true grit and passion from playing on a boys team and continue to carry what I learned with me. But as I got older I needed to find a team of my own. So at age 11 I made the switch to girls hockey. I thought I knew my love for hockey when I was on a boys team but, wow. I was wrong. Being on a team with girls who become your sisters, coaches who become mentors is truly unlike anything else. I was surrounded by girls who shared my passion for the game and coaches who cared for me on and off the ice. Hockey is what makes me who I am and I am determined to make it to the next level. I can't wait to see what the future holds!
