When you think New Mexico, you probably don't think ice hockey. I didn't either until my parents put me on a local hockey team when I was eight years old to toughen me up for my soccer team. I loved hockey so much that when it came time to choose between the two sports, I chose hockey. I have worked hard for opportunities that many others wouldn't get. I have met some of my best friends while playing hockey as well as having learnt discipline and how to be a team player. I love to be a leader and I am committed to work hard and go as far as I can go.
