Jaclyn Van Schubert '21 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals and aspirations are to become a member of a varsity women's ice hockey team while obtaining a degree in education.  I am a hard working, team oriented player with the ability to play a multitude of positions.  I have an understanding of what it takes to play and compete at the highest levels as both of my older brothers have been successful in their sports, one playing in the OHL for hockey and the other earning a athletic scholarship for football.  This summer I will be competing in the Ontario Summers games as a member of a U16 ice hockey team, after being successful in the tryout process.

My biggest attribute in hockey is my undying love for the game.  Hockey is the greatest sport on earth, and I pride myself in my game preparation both mentally and physically.

I am aspiring to become a high school teacher, majoring in physical education so I can pass along my love for sport to the next generation.
