My name is Julia Bachetti and I was born in Canada in 2004.
I played travel hockey AA for Tecumseh Eagles boys team up to Bantam Major but switched over to the women's PWHL Southwest Jr Wildcats in 2019-20. After the Covid-19 pandemic, I decided to move to Kitchener-Waterloo Rangers in the PWHL for the 2021-22 season. I committed to play at the NCAA Division 1 level in 2022-23 at St. Cloud State University and recently entered the transfer portal March 6, 2023. It is important to me that I attend a post secondary institution that will give me an opportunity to play hockey so I can help the team reach its goals and collectively bring pride to the program. I am a very disciplined goalie and ever since I started playing hockey, I was always striving to play at the highest level possible, this taught me to always give my best at games, practices and workouts. I understand what I have to do to succeed at this level and I plan to put in the time. This is something that makes me a consistent athlete. I believe a student athlete should have a balance and pursue their goals while maintaining academic success.
