Hello I’m Anika Mahon a 2026 forward from Mississauga Ontario, Canada.
From the moment my dad laced up my skates and I stumbled onto the ice I began to dream of where this sport that I love dearly may take me.
Now I find myself with a great desire to continue playing hockey in a post secondary school and studying Computer Science.
On and off the ice I strive to achieve my full potential and this is seen in my current 93% grade average.
I would describe my playing style as a two-way player using my above average speed to back check tenuously while possessing the ability to transition quickly to an aggressive forechecker on offence.
Over the years I have had the honour of being an assistant Captain and when not I continued my positive leadership in the dressing room and on the ice. The skills and interactions in hockey as well as the other sports I play in high school have provided me with a well-rounded understanding of what it will take to achieve my future goals outside of sports.
