Mackenna Blizzard '23 Recruiting Profile

I play hockey and lacrosse and I'm looking to bring my sports to the next level. I have a well-balanced routine to ensure that both my schooling and sports are to their highest levels and make sure I am always performing my best.  I participate on the High School Varsity Hockey team as well this being my 4th season on the team. I am currently a grade 12 student carrying a 93% average of my top 6 classes.  After high school I am interested in pursuing a career in Sports Media & Broadcasting. I would like to attend a College or University that fits my goals academically and athletically as my dream is to play College/University Hockey. 

In the future I see myself coaching hockey and growing the female hockey sport.  I have volunteered my time into teaching kids the basics of the sport for the last few years. Last season I was involved in a mentorship program with the U8 girls in our hockey association. 

Many of the women I look up to and I consider my role models have attended colleges and universities in America and I want to follow in their footsteps. I would love to inspire young women one day, just as they have inspired me!
