Personal Statement

My name is Alice Robertson. I am an ’08 goalie and will graduate in 2026.  My goal is to play hockey at the university/collegiate D1 or D3 level. I started playing hockey when I was 5 years old.  At age 11, I started playing rep hockey, my second year as a goalie, with the Oakville Hornets Association. Currently, I play rep hockey for the Mississauga Hurricanes (U18A) and high school varsity hockey with the Holy Trinity Titans (AAA).  This past summer I played in two tournaments in Boston, the Women’s Chowder Cup with Top Speed Hockey (16U) and the Beantown Challenge with Pro Hockey Development (U19). During the spring/summer season, I play defense on the school varsity lacrosse team and the Oakville Hawks rep U19 field lacrosse team.

Academically, I have a 3.7 GPA (90%). I am interested in continuing my education after high school in life science, pre-med, or biology.

I am a very hard-working and determined goalie with a great work ethic, good size, and a consistent technique that I continue to improve every year. I have a very positive attitude towards my teammates and other goalies.  I have a dedicated goalie coach that I have been training with for three years. I play Rep field lacrosse as a defensive player in the summer to maintain my conditioning for hockey. I am open to new challenges and believe I could contribute to any hockey team.

I am still looking at several schools, but would be interested in hearing from any school with an open 2026 goalie position.
