This is only my third year of hockey. I played ringuette at the top tier before I decided to switch to hockey. I have been playing goalie all my years of hockey and ringuette. I started to skate when I was 6 years old but I think the most memorable childhood memory that influenced me was when I used to play ball hockey outside with my brother and all the neighourhood kids who were all six years older than me. I was only 5 years old and since I was the youngest and the only girl playing, I was forced to go in nets and play goalie.
I have won gold in two provincials and bronze in one. I won the sportmanship award in grade eight for my grade. It was when I was in middle school that my gym teacher introduced me to hockey and had me play on the school hockey team and so it was the following year that I had switched sports and started playing hockey.
I am a hard worker and always open to new ideas and looking and listening to my goalie coaches and trainers for ways to improve my game. I believe the reason you should recruit me is because no matter what level I have ever played at I have always adapted and quickly learned to excel at the level I was playing at no matter the level. If you don't believe me I am also able to prove this because in only my first year of hockey with no experience prior I made the competitive C team. This is only my third year of hockey and I ended up skipping 2 levels from C to A. To conclude this, the point I am trying to make here is I may not play for the top level but I have shown that I'm am able to improve incredibly with each passing year and every year I have come out successful because I have the potential to play at any level I am thrown into.
In all efforts, I am trying to say that you should recruit me because I have the potential, attitude, and I am always open to criticizing. I have the willingness to improve and do what it takes to get to the next level so I can show you my skills and talents. And if you don't believe me yet then in last resort feel free to please check out my highlights video.
