Sophie Brush '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sophie Brush and I am a 2025 graduate. I am a defenseman for Windsor Wildcats U18 AA and I have joined this recruiting platform to help me find a school that can further my education and hockey career. I have always set high standards and goals for myself in both athletics and academics. I have a strong work ethic, I am highly motivated, and I put in a great amount of effort towards keeping my grades high and also improving as an athlete. I hold a 97% grade average and my goal for college/university is to major in biology with hopes of later going to med school to successfully start a career in the medical field. 

As for characteristics and skills, being a multi-sport athlete helps me bring lots to the table. As a hockey player I am a fast, smooth skater who is physical, good at passing, and able to make plays. I am an offensive D who will rush the puck and jump into the play. More importantly, as a team player, I am able to collaborate and communicate easily with others. I am a very coachable player that can adapt to any constuctive criticism and advice given to me and I am able to keep a positive attitude and behaviour.

Ever since I started playing hockey at the age of four I have gained a strong passion for the sport. With hard work and determination, I hope to continue my journey.
