Arleigh Anderson '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches! For the 2025-26 season I will be playing with the U22 Elite Oakville Junior Hornets in the OWHL!  I am a hardworking R shot forward and I love the game of hockey, not just playing, but all aspects! I am hoping to play the best hockey I can in College/Unniversity starting in 2026 or 2027. I am now old enough to drive and have chosen a team to commit to in the Oakville Junior Hornets of the U22 OWHL Elite League. Playing wise, I am a two way predominately center or rw player that loves assisting as much as scoring the big goals. I take pride in my academics and always strive and prioritize to do my best and maintain my over 90% average each high school year in Ontario. I am very organized and have excellent time management skills which have helped me achieve my success to date.  I love being a part of a team and I am hoping to find a school that has a very good family team dynamic, a home away from home so to speak. My coaches have all told me that I am very coachable and I really do listen and try my best to please. I love my teammates. 

I am also very resilient and even when faced with controversy I have risen above sad moments with determination and used them for motivation and an opportunity to build resiliency in myself. I have a drive to succeed and achieve my goals, I do not give up, I work hard and feel there is nothing better than rising to a challenge and succeeding!! I do this for myself and also to be a good role model for others around me, especially my sister, Vanessa Anderson, an up and coming 2010 goalie. 😊
