Isabelle Simoneau '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Isabelle Simoneau and I am apart of the graduating class of 2027. Hockey is my passion,  My position is defence and i shoot left, For my schools hockey team I play center. Other school sports I play is basketball, volleyball, soccer and on the cross country team. Off hockey season i play competitive soccer and this year will be trying hard baseball.
My current goals are to become a strong well rounded hockey player while focusing on my academics, and to improve my athletic abilities in all the sports i play. I am a hard working student-athlete, that attends early morning high school practices, focuses on studies and school work and attends my hockey teams evening practices that are 1.5 hours of one way travelling. I am dedicated to myself and my teams. I do not give up easily as my competitive personality doesn't let me.  I adapt to change rather quickly. What separates me from the the rest is that I have the drive and determined to succeed and feel proud in myself. My personal strongest strength about menin hockey is my IQ, which i receive compliments about as well. I do improve every time i play by watching teammates and really listening to coaching staff. My dreams are to play for Team Canada, it also my dream to play University/college hockey representing the school proudly while obtaining my education. Now that PWHL is offical- maybe with training, hard work and exposure that dream can be in my future!
