When I first stepped on the ice at the age of four, I fell in love with the game. As I have grown up playing hockey I have grown to love the game more and more, to the point where it has become my life, and given me the goal to play at the collegiate level.
Each time I step on the ice, whether it's a practice, game, or just a skate around, I strive to better myself, and I think that explains who I am as a player. I am extremely competitive, not only with others but with myself, so whenever I am on the ice I work as hard as I can to become a better player than I was yesterday. I believe that I am a leader on and off the ice, I know when to use my voice, when to have fun, and when to focus, and I think that is seen by my coaches and teammates.
As much as I prioritize hockey, I do believe my education is just as important. I work hard in school to maintain a good GPA and make sure I am exceeding in school at the same time as hockey, to get me to the collegiate level
My parents have put so much time and effort into my hockey career, so I want to get to the collegiate level to prove to them that they didn't waste their time, and make them proud! Playing college hockey has always been a goal of mine, so I am willing to look at all options until I find the perfect college for me.
