Spencer Cameron '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Spencer Cameron and I have been playing hockey since I was 6 years old.  It is where I feel the most like myself, where everything goes silent, and I am just focused on the game.  As I start the process to look at colleges, I am beginning to narrow down my preferences to a smaller school in New England with small classes, strong career support and a solid business program.

My strengths are my athleticism, my grit, and I am a strong leader and good teammate.  I have played Varsity Hockey and Lacrosse every year of my high school career, and three years of our championship Varsity Field Hockey.  I have been a starter for every game of each of these sports and believe my sportsmanship, ability to see the ice (or field), know where the other players are, and make good passes and plays are some of the reasons I get a lot of playing time. I am also a really fun person and teammate! I would love to continue to do this in college.

Hockey History

-Current team: New England Pioneers U19 Tier 1 (club); SE Grizzlies (summer tournament team); 

-2024-2025 NRI Yeti High School Hockey Team Captain

2021-2023 High school team was the Mount St. Charles/Lincoln/Cumberland Girls Varsity Hockey team (assistant Captain)

-2023 RI All Star High School Hockey team

- All Division accolades received Freshman Year, Sophomore Year, Junior Year

-Received the Digit Murphy Unsung Hero Award 2022

-Ranked #5 in the state for points 2023

-New England Pioneers U10, U12, U14, U16, U19 Tier 2, U19 Tier 1

-Played with Riptide (U16 Tier II and U19 Tier1 summer tournament team)

-Attended Elite Hockey Academy at New Hampton school (Summer 2022, 2023)
