Caroline Stevens '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi! First of all, I would like to say that I love hockey. Hockey means the world to me and this makes me a good candidate for a college team because I will work harder than anyone else just because I want to be on the ice so bad. I have been skating since I could walk and have played on ponds in the winter ever since I could remember. For the 2020-2021 season I joined the LC Lightning Co-Ed Bantam team. This season (2021-2022) I am the only girl on the LC Lightning U18 team and we are undefeated. My experience playing with people of the opposite gender has prepared me well for college hockey as I know what it is to be competitive and tough. My grades also make me a standout - I have been a 4.0 student since enrolling in the public school system in sixth grade and am a part of honor roll and also involved the FFA chapter at my high school. I take 4 out of 6 classes at Walla Walla Community College where I get dual credits and as a result of this will graduate with my Associates Degree. I hope to go on to college in order to become an attorney.
