Reese Strauts '25 Recruiting Profile

I am a 2025 Center playing AAA 16u for the Madison Capitols for 2022/23. I was at the 2022 15u National Player Development Camp onTeam Royal and was a Central District Camp Invitee in both 2022 and 2021. Coaches have commented on my hands and stickhandling abilities as well as my game sense.  I excel at playing the entire sheet of ice making me a strong offensive threat, but a strong defensive contributer as well. 

I was selected as Team Captain for the 2022/23 season. I am a top points contributor and part of all of our special units (PP, PK, 3 on 5 etc). I have also filled in on our 19u team as a defender.  As of 1/31/2023 my season points are 22 goals, 24 assists for 46 points. This past season I was in the top 3 points contibuters for our 16u AAA team playing up as a 14u.  My points total last season was 18 goals, 28 assists for 46 points.

Academically I have over a 4.0. I enjoy science. I’m looking towards a career in biology or psychology.
