holly wilks '17 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goal is to obtain a scholarship that would incorporate my academic goals as well as my athletic goals. There are so many colleges today that their focus is either on athletics OR academics, and I want to integrate the two. What makes me not just a good candidate, but a great candidate or a mistake if overlooked is that not only will i personally elevate myself from mediocrity to greatness, but i will ensure that i do it for my team mates as well. I am a utility player, i am totally receptive to feedback, i am coachable, i am a leader on my team, i was chosen as a high school All American in the 8th grade to attend the Brine Nationals in Maryland and currently i am 14 years old and i am one of 2 starting freshman on our highschool varsity team. Academically i am proud to say i have a 3.77 GPA at one of the top collegiate prepratory school's in Alabama. At 12 years old i was invited by Duke University to take the ACT and did incredibly well.
