I started playing lacrosse as a 9 year old in 2014 while growing up in Moorestown, New Jersey. In 2018 I moved to Canada and continued playing on a variety of clubs. While there were fewer club and tournament options here, I was very lucky to play with girls who were 3 or 4 years older than me. This taught me to be a smarter player and forced me to push myself harder in practices and games due to the obvious physical differences. The benefit of playing with older girls enabled me to tryout and make the Provincial U19 team (as a 14 year old) and compete at the 2019 Canadian National Championship tournament. From a lacrosse perspective, I have been described by coaches as having a high lax IQ with an excellent ability to find open spaces in the offensive zone. Along with this, I have a very accurate shot and am a really good passer. I am also not afraid to challenge bigger and stronger players. Academically, I am extremely hard working and focused which has led to me having a 4.0 GPA through my first 2 years of high school. I have been described as bringing a lot of positive energy to a team and people I am around. Lacrosse has enabled me to better adapt to meeting new people which made my move to Canada as a 13 year old much easier. I look forward to expanding my education at an institution that will enable me to be the best person and teammate that I can be.
